Frequently asked questions
Understand the service before you commit.
These answers explain common scope, timing, support and ownership questions. The signed proposal and service agreement remain the final authority.
How much does a website cost?
Website pricing depends on page count, content readiness, functionality, integrations and migration requirements. Website projects start from R5,500, with final price and scope set out in the written proposal. VAT is not currently applicable.
How long does a website take?
The schedule is confirmed after scope and content readiness are understood. Client content delays, slow approvals and new requirements can move the launch date.
What is included in the standard website package?
A typical base scope includes up to five core pages, responsive design, a contact form, basic SEO setup, performance work, security-conscious configuration, testing and managed deployment.
How many revisions are included?
The proposal states the included review rounds. Additional rounds or a material change in direction may be quoted as extra work.
Who supplies the website content?
The client is normally responsible for accurate business information, approved brand assets and legal wording. Copywriting, photography or extensive content entry can be quoted separately.
Does NetZion provide hosting?
Yes. Managed hosting and SSL can be included in a care plan or agreed service package.
What happens after launch?
The website can move into a care plan covering hosting, maintenance, backups, checks, support and scheduled reporting according to the selected level.
Is maintenance compulsory?
No. The appropriate post-launch arrangement is agreed before work starts. A care plan is recommended where the client wants NetZion to remain responsible for routine maintenance and support.
What does a care plan include?
Inclusions vary by plan and can cover managed hosting, SSL, backups, software maintenance, uptime and form checks, support time, content updates, security reviews and reporting.
Can NetZion redesign an existing website?
Yes. Redesign work can cover content, navigation, mobile usability, visual design, performance, security, redirects and launch verification.
Does NetZion build e-commerce websites?
E-commerce can be considered, but it is not part of the standard base website. Products, payments, shipping, user accounts and integrations require separate discovery and pricing.
Does NetZion provide SEO?
NetZion provides technical and on-page SEO foundations. Ongoing campaigns, content programmes and specialist SEO work are separate services where agreed.
Can NetZion guarantee Google rankings?
No. No responsible provider can guarantee a specific ranking, traffic level or enquiry volume.
Does NetZion provide 24/7 support?
No. Standard services do not include continuous 24/7 support or guaranteed immediate incident response. Response targets are defined in the selected service agreement.
Does NetZion provide cybersecurity services?
NetZion offers scoped website security assessments, configuration reviews, recommendations and agreed remediation support. This is not continuous SOC monitoring.
Can NetZion work with another agency?
Yes, where responsibilities, access, communication and testing permission are clearly documented.
What happens when work falls outside scope?
NetZion explains the additional requirement and prepares a change request, estimate or separate proposal before material extra work continues.
Who owns the website?
Ownership and licensing are defined in the signed agreement. Third-party software, themes, plugins, fonts, stock assets and hosted services may remain subject to their own licences.
What happens if the client cancels?
Recurring care plans and hosting services require one calendar month’s written notice. Mandatory rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act, including fixed-term consumer cancellation rights where applicable, continue to apply.
How are backups handled?
Essential Care uses weekly backups retained for up to 30 days. Professional Care uses daily backups retained for up to 30 days, and Business Care uses daily backups retained for up to 90 days. One restoration per calendar month is included where a suitable recent backup is available. No backup system can guarantee complete recovery or restoration of the latest version.
